MASSOTHERAPY

Californian massage

Often considered a perfect relaxation massage, the therapist incorporates long flowing and continuous kneading strokes, and uses oil. Long soft movements will also be used to reach deep into the muscles in order to relieve tension. This technique is ideal for stressed individuals as it provides focus on the body to provide a profound relaxation.

Four hands massage

This massage pampers you while two therapists, using their hands simultaneously, choreograph their soft movements. This massage is recommended for relaxation and improvement of blood flow.

Hot/cold stones massage

For this massage, the therapist uses soft round volcanic stones which are left for a brief moment on specific points during the massage. The hot stones energize and melt away stress, while relieving sore joints and improving circulation. The cold stones are used at the end of the treatment to calm any inflammation and tighten the pores.

Lymphatic drainage

Therapeutic massage technique using rhythmic pumping movements along the lymph trunk. The lymph circulation will accelerate and facilitate the elimination of toxins. Also influences the nervous system (anti-stress effect) and reinforces the immune system.

Lympho-energetic drainage

Drainage technique combined with acupressure to stimulate energy by toning and dispersing points.

Massage for pregnant woman

Performed on a massage table or chair, this type of massage is adapted to the various physiological changes that occur during pregnancy. Helps relieve pain (lower back, sciatic nerve, nape, legs, shoulders, etc.) and contributes to wellness and comfort during pregnancy, and also to be better prepared to giving birth.

Massage on chair

This massage is done on an ergonomic designed chair using Shiatsu techniques and muscle massage to reduce stress and revitalize. This massage is given over clothes.

Massage under the rain

A massage is given while you are lying on a table under soft warm rain. Shower heads are aligned over the table and distribute the water while the therapist performs the massage. In addition to toning the muscles, this technique balances the nervous system and provides an exceptional feeling of relaxation. Tensions and problems are washed away and you leave with a profoundly relaxing sensation, purified and invigorated.

Reflexology

Using the thumbs, pressure is applied upon the reflex points of your feet, hands and back followed by slow rotating movements on sensitive points. This massage provides information on possible malfunction of organs and balances energy. This technique is based on the link established between a reflex point at the extremities and an organ, using a different connection than the meridians.

Reiki

Surprising method to activate and strengthen natural healing, let the energy flow and provide total relaxation. This spiritual approach calls upon the hands and mind of the therapist to visualize the universal energy flow.

Shiatsu massage

Shi meaning ‘finger’ and atsu ‘pressure’. As you are lying on a mat set on the floor and wearing loose clothing, the therapist will apply pressure to appropriate points over your clothes or directly on your skin, without using oil. This form of Asian acupressure balances the energy flow using thumbs, fingers, palms, elbows and even feet at times.

Sport massage

Somewhat similar to the Swedish massage, the sport approach involves deep, penetrating strokes and energetic kneading. Ideal to stimulate and drain toxins from muscles.

Swedish massage

The Swedish massage uses essential oils. Strong and soft movements are combined to release tension and improve muscle tone. Attention is given to muscles, circulatory and nervous system. It has relaxing and therapeutic benefits.

Therapeutic massage

This massage will relieve muscular pains.
